Gestionnaire 2006

Gestionnaire 2006 is a hybrid system, both software and Web application, that answers the needs of government and private childcare centres in Quebec, all in accordance with government regulations. This solution exists in both French and English versions.

This ERP-type package is comprised of three integrated modules that assist all administrative and accounting tasks, and produce specific reports related to these activities.

The Childcare module is a specialised customer accounts section that manages attendance by children, billing parents, processing of grants, and production of income tax receipts. It also handles all information related to children and their parents.

The Finance module contains all standard accounting tools: banking transactions, general journal, general ledger, deposits, bank reconciliation, financial forecast, statement of results, trial balance and balance sheet. It also integrates supplier's record and accounts payable. This module is conceived for efficient management tailored to the specific needs of childcare centres, and allows accounting by project or by component.

The Human Resources module is for the entry and processing of data relating to employees and work hours, and the calculation and payment of payroll and employer contributions; it also produces year-end income tax receipts.

The E-Transfer component makes electronic fund transfers possible, including direct deposit of paycheques into employees’ bank accounts and pre-authorized payment of childcare fees from parents’ accounts.

The Multiple Components component helps distribute revenues and expenses between a centre’s components. It permits integrated management of childcare in facilities and homes.

The Bureau Coordonnateur component answers the needs of the new home daycare services structure. It allows them to easily manage the large number of Home Childcare Providers that might report to them.

The Gestionnaire 2006 home page is a Web page that allows customers to download updates, obtain tips and on-line help. It also allows a global overview of daily operations through different scoreboards for optimum management.
