SMART VO is an on-line application that allows childcare centres to create their own web site as well as easily communicate with parents, employees, HCPs and board members via a secure extranet, generating signficant savings.

User Friendly Tool

Thanks to this easy-to-use tool, managers of childcare services can become webmaster of their own site, without hard training and in three easy steps:

• Connect to the internet to log on to SMART VO;
• Insert logo, mission statement, services, schedules, programs and other content, and select one of 25 currently existing templates;
• Publication of their site on TheSmartSoftware.com.

A privileged space for communicating with parents

No matter where or when, parents on the go can get answers to their questions by going directly to their childcare’s interactive web site, can download forms, or add their name to the waiting list.

SMART VO allows three types of access to the created web site:

• A public section for all visitors who need general information or wish to find out about the services offered by the childcare centre;
• A section reserved for all parents who are clients of the childcare centre, accessible by entering a user name. This section contains information on the general policies of the childcare centre, menus, activities and outings, etc.;
• A password-protected private section for each parent, accessible by entering a unique user name, where they can view their statement of account, their child’s record, and the child care worker’s advice and comments.

SMART VO is linked to Micro-Accès’ SMART 2004 so that confidential information destined to parents can be exported in complete security.

It functions on a computer connected to the internet and simply requires Internet Explorer and Windows*. No downloading is required.
