Québec, December 14, 2005 - Fortune 1000 Group Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange: FRT) is pleased to announce that it has received the approval of its shareholders and the appropriate regulatory authorities to change its name. Marking the evolution of its business model, Fortsum Business Solutions Inc. (Fortsum Business Solutions) is now the new name of the Québec-based company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the ticker FRT.

Already the leader in accounting, commercial and banking solutions for Québec SMBs, Fortsum Business Solutions aspires to become the leader in secure data exchange in Québec and the rest of Canada. In the service of SMBs for more than twenty years, the company will now offer its multi-platform technology, which is unique in Canada, to large businesses that wish to do electronic business with SMBs. Financial institutions, government organizations, franchisers, business communities will form the new target clientele of Fortsum Business Solutions.

The name Fortsum is the combination of two Latin words, fortuna, which means fortune, and summum, which refers to the highest degree. “This new name, in addition to highlighting the evolution in the company’s business model, reflects our company culture, which is based on the ideal that the creation of value and fortune, both for our customers and our shareholders, must be the fruit of excellence and attaining the highest standards in all we do,” concluded Taschereau.
