Québec, September 25, 2006 – Fortsum Business Solutions Inc. (Fortsum Business Solutions) (TSX Venture Exchange: FRT) is proud to announce today that its subsidiary Groupe Conseil LVMB (LVMB) has obtained a prolongation of its agreement with American Iron & Metal Company Inc. (AIM) for the implementation of the Microsoft® Dynamics GP solution.
“This new contract, which should generate nearly $300,000 in revenues, is testament to the expertise of the LVMB team in developing and integrating top-of-the-line solutions, such as Microsoft®,” said Corporate Chief Executive Officer, François Taschereau.
“In July 2005, AIM decided to invest in a new high-performance integrated ERP system to support the company’s rapid growth. A proven methodology, a team of dedicated people assigned to the project, a clear vision on the part of management and powerful, flexible software—these are the key elements that resulted in quick deployment and stellar success in the project’s initial phase. We are very pleased to continue our partnership with AIM,” added LVMB’s Vice-president for Business Development, François Paré.
“Over the coming months, phase II of the project will see the implementation of manufacturing components of the Microsoft® Dynamics GP solution, the implementation or replacement of certain peripheral systems and deployment in our factories in the United States. Here, thanks to LVMB’s expertise, in under a year, we have made a major change in our technology platform, deployed financial management and distribution components in our factories in Québec and trained our employees, all according to a tight schedule and at a low cost,” concluded AIM’s IT Director, Richard Carrier.
