The Corporation just completed its fourth acquisition in 2008
Québec, June 5, 2008 – Fortsum Business Solutions Inc. (Fortsum Business Solutions) (TSX Venture Exchange: FRT) announced today the closure of another acquisition in line with its strategy to consolidate the market for SAP Business One and Sage Accpac solutions in eastern Canada. Thus the Corporation, which announced the acquisition of Syneco gestion globale Inc. and mCite Business Systems Inc. as well as the clientele of Sage Accpac of Forgestik Inc. in April 2008, just closed the acquisition of eNova, a business solutions consultation service company with offices in Boucherville, Québec.
“Considering these acquisitions from a global perspective, Fortsum Business Solutions has acquired some 200 new customers and increased annual revenues by over $2.5 million. In addition, the expertise of the some fifteen people added to our team is strategic to the development of our SAP Business One and Sage Accpac activities in the Atlantic Provinces, Québec and Ontario. Likewise, I am very pleased to welcome to our team Blake Barkhouse, Pierre-Paul Caron, Charles Gravel and Benoît Laprise, each of whom will continue his valuable work with his respective clientele,” said Denis Carrier, CA TI, Senior Vice-president, Integration.
“Since the beginning of the year, Fortsum Business Solutions has invested nearly $2 million in cash in strategic acquisitions to develop activities in the Integration segment,” added Fortsum Business Solutions’ President and Chief Executive Officer, André Thompson. “Besides the expected improvement in financial reports that should please our shareholders, these acquisitions confirm Management’s efforts to increase value both by penetrating new geographic markets, as in the case of the acquisition of MCite in Toronto and Halifax, and the development of our offer and existing partnerships,” concluded Thompson.
