Québec, May 4, 2007 – Fortsum Business Solutions Inc. (Fortsum Business Solutions) (TSX Venture Exchange: FRT) announces today that it has acquired a large portion of the ACCPAC® clientele of Groupe conseil Cogismaq Inc. (Cogismaq), known as Genius Solutions™. This acquisition, paid in cash, represents an investment of over a quarter of a million dollars for the Corporation. In addition, Fortsum Business Solutions has also hired Harold Paradis, formerly employed by Genius Solutions, as the SAGE ACCPAC director for Eastern Québec.
This transaction will add close to eighty customers to Fortsum Business Solutions’ base of clients who use ACCPAC®. Furthermore, it is another step in the market-consolidation initiative began in 2006 with the acquisition of Groupe Conseil LVMB Inc. and Implanciel Inc. Fortsum Business Solutions thus solidifies its ranking as the leading ACCPAC® partner in Québec and third in all of Canada.
