Gilles Létourneau, B. Sc., M. Sc., President and Chief Executive Officer - GFI Solutions Group Inc.
Holder of a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s in computer science, Gilles Létourneau has been active in the development of IT companies in Quebec for more than 20 years. He has founded and grown a number of companies, among which Conceptum, Cognicase, Walter Ego and MSDS Solutions Inc. In 2004, to further Conceptum’s success, he associates with GFI Informatique, a major French company, which leads to the creation of GFI Solutions in 2005 . The company then engages in targeted strategic acquisitions, the most recent being Fortsum Business Solutions Inc., Bell Business Solutions Inc., Accovia Inc. and Imagina Solutions Technologiques. GFI Solutions Group enjoys a significant increase of its sales figure, from $23M in 2005 to more than $110M and employs some 1000 people to date.
Denis Carrier, CA, CA•IT Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Carrier is a Chartered Accountant who was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Fortsum Business Solutions when the company was acquired by GFI Solutions Group, on May 21, 2009. Prior to this, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of the company and before that, Vice-President of its Integration segment. Mr. Carrier is the founder of Implanciel Inc., a company purchased by Fortsum in December 2006 and served as the president from 1986 to 2006. During this period, he was in charge of the administrative function and the deployment of ERP solutions. Mr. Carrier is one of the first consultants in Québec for Sage Accpac® and SAP Business One®. He studied at HEC Montréal and is a Competency Map Committee Member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. In addition, he has been an instructor at HEC since 1985. He also obtained his CA•IT designation in 2005, which is given to chartered accountants who have developed an expertise in information technology.
Ginette Morin, CRHA, General Manager, Operations and HR
Ms. Morin is an experienced human resource professional who has worked in this field since 1986. She has developed an expertise in human resources management, organizational development and employee relations through her various roles with technology companies and customer contact centres. Ms. Morin graduated from the Université de Québec in Trois Rivières in 1989 with a degree in human resource management and from CIREM-HEC in Montréal in 2002. She is a member and syndic of ORHRI Québec, the primary human resources management and industrial relations reference organization in Québec. Ms. Morin was promoted General Manager, Operations and HR when Fortsum Business Solutions was acquired by GFI Solutions Group on May 21, 2009. Prior to this promotion, she had been Vice-president, Human Capital of Fortsum since May 2007.
Francois Paré, C. Adm., Vice-president, Strategic Partnerships
A graduate of Université Laval in 1983 and a member of the Chartered Administrators of Québec since 1997, Mr. Paré has over 25 years of relevant experience in information technology consulting. He has worked for Fortsum since April 2006, and he benefits from a solid reputation, especially with Microsoft Corporation, one of Fortsum’s major business partners. He has been a member of the Partner Advisory Council for Microsoft Canada for 7 years and a member of the Partner Advisory Board for Microsoft Corporation for 5 years. He was the former President of Groupe Conseil LVMB, a company acquired by Fortsum in April 2006. Under his direction, LVMB received several awards and distinctions from Microsoft, most notably the Award of Excellence, Business Solutions Competency, Impact Award as well as a number of President’s Club awards. In 2006, Mr. Paré was a key contributor to a Microsoft media roundtable during the launch of version 9 of Microsoft DynamicsTM GP.
Blake Barkhouse, Vice-president, Business Development (Rest of Canada)
Mr. Barkhouse is a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Management Consultant. He is the founder of mCite Business Systems, a company purchased by Fortsum in May 2008 and served as the president from 2006 to 2008. During this period, he was in charge of business development and the deployment of ERP solutions. Under his leadership, mCite received several awards and distinctions from SAP Canada most notably the Top Performer Award for Canada and the Top Ten Club for North America. Mr. Barkhouse has over ten years of relevant experience in information technology consulting. Prior to entering the consulting field, Mr. Barkhouse had numerous years of experience in senior management roles in industry. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 1993.
